Katherine’s research center’s on public mental health, older persons’ health and the lay perspectives of medicines and health services. The main settings for this research are the community, primary health care and secondary health care organizations. She is also involved in research collaborations exploring the role of exercise and technology in older people. Denise has 41 peer reviewed publications and has supervised 72 students for their Masters or PhD

She is a firm supporter of looking at the natural world to support human endeavor and I am developing an equine methodology model within my own research. This is a long way from her traditional quantitative research background and she is finding it very inspirational.
