Joanne Thomas is a senior lecture at Birmingham City University. She is an Operating Department Practitioner in the UK, which is a role that specializes in all areas within human operating departments in hospitals. She is studying towards her Educational Doctorate and have presented her work across several conferences within the UK. She is a firm supporter of looking at the natural world to support human endeavor and I am developing an equine methodology model within my own research. This is a long way from her traditional quantitative research background and she is finding it very inspirational.
